Product Description Hoover Widepath Tempo Upright
Amazon.com Review The Tempo WidePath features a 15-inch cleaning path for super fast vacuuming when you need it the most. Plus, the WidePath cleans indoor air while you vacuum, thanks to an innovative allergen filtration system that traps 100 percent of dust mites, 99.98 percent of ragweed, and common grass pollens for cleaner breathing and fresher air. A powerful, 12 amp motor provides ample suction and doesn't leave anything behind. Onboard tool storage keeps attachments, such as a dusting brush, furniture nozzle, crevice tool, and two extension wands in close reach. A smaller profile (approximately 33-1/4 by 18-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches) and lighter overall weight makes the Tempo WidePath easy to push, and easier to maneuver around and under furniture, too. And, your purchase is covered by a Hoover one-year warranty. Get a Tempo WidePath, and never get behind on the housework again! --Brian Olson

Strong suction September 8, 2010 R. W. Milyard (Fort Mohave, Arizona United States) I don't know what the previous version of this vacuum cleaner was like, but the one I received works as it should. Actually, it has better suction than the one I replaced which was the expensive gear driven version of the same cleaner.
I do not vacuum hard floors (I broom and mop them) and have never tried to use a vacuum cleaner on them, so no loss there.
Even if this is less than it used to be, it is still a great value at under $80.00.
The cord could be longer, and routing the cord on the hangers is a bit clumsy but
gets done.
A word to the wise: To extend the life of the roller as long as possible, keep the
setting at a point that does not pull the vacuum forward to much, as this is nothing
more than the roller brushes hitting the carpet.
Hoover Tempo is great September 6, 2010 Joe Feil (Akron, Ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My wife and I bought the Hoover Tempo in July (2010). In spite of some negative comments, it has been the best sweeper we ever bought. It is not too heavy and cleans both rugs and bare floors superbly. How they can sell it at such a low price is hard for me to understand, but I like it.
Surprisingly effective vacuum September 6, 2010 sircyberdawg (Pensacola, FL) I initially bought this vacuum because it was highly rated here on Amazon and it was about as expensive as getting my previous vacuum fixed. This vacuum is very light, and it "sucks" better than any vacuum that I've had, making it extremely effective for cleaning carpet as well as picking up other dust and dirt. It's inexpensive enough to be a throwaway item.
hoover tempo upright September 4, 2010 Craature of Comfort An excellent machine, especially for the price. vacuums extremely well, even seems self-propelled, has all necessary attachments. would have bought two if i thought i'd live that long.
lasted two months September 3, 2010 Jeffrey Markman (Norristown, PA USA) We had this vacuum for two months and it stopped working. Can't wait to take it apart to see what is wrong.
